The number of confirmed coronavirus cases (COVID-19) and deaths continue to rise inside and outside of China. There are also reportedly 36,719 patients hospitalized from novel coronavirus infections - a staggering number. In response, China has expanded efforts to round up and track potential coronavirus infections - including cellphone surveillance. Dr. Seheult discusses new questions about the asymptomatic spread of COVID-19 as well as more sleep tips and insomnia resources.

We've produced each COVID-19 video with the best information we could access at the time of recording. Naturally, some videos will contain information that has become outdated or replaced by better information or research.

That said, we believe each video contains concepts that have enduring value and reviewing how the response to COVID-19 has progressed over time may be of interest to you as well.

You know what, I dont read or listen to any newspaper online other than going straight to my YT notifications to see your updates. You are my news outlet on this issue. You not only update us in a very appropriate manner but also educate us what needs to be done, and how to take information and how to react on it. You also help us understand the other side of picture which general public doesnt see at all. You are blessing for all of us. And you are doing a great job here. Your research is thorough and to the point and addresses the issue, eliminates the false information that could spread sensation and drive general public crazy. And I have a lot of respect for you. This is all coming from bottom of my heart. God bless you my friend!

Dr. Seheult, I'm an RN and your channel is, hands-down my favorite. The information and clarity you offer to medical professionals, as well as non-professionals, is concise, balanced, interesting and understandable by most. Your calm voice and demeanor top it off. What a great teacher! Thank you for all you do. I wish you'd been around when I worked the ER and Trauma- it would have been a joy. I share your updates frequently.

I’m so glad channels like this exist, he’s calm and giving the public much needed information without distilling fear to get views. The news is soo TOXIC, it’s a huge deal but we can discuss things without trying to scare the public. Thanks for informing us calmly. We need this type of news.

*Me listening* "64, 436 total deaths"
Wow, that escalated quickly.
*looks at screen* Oh, thankfully he just said the wrong thing. Whew.

We link from our company homepage to these videos - because this channel and Dr. John Campbell's channel are the two really excellent places for people with or without medical backgrounds to understand what is going on.

I would add that one of the things the bedroom is also associated with is the idea of having to wake up at a certain time to get ready to go to work. You have to wake up in your bedroom. Thinking about the pressure to ready oneself for work can be an anxiety driving thought process.

What helped my insomnia immensely was working out. I workout around an 45 minutes to an hour a day and by 10-11PM im and ready for bed. Before i would be up till 1-2AM when i had to be up at 730AM for work. Try it out. Not only good for sleep but for your health as well!

The stuff about associating the bedroom with insomnia makes so much sense. Insightful really. I often go through phases of only sleeping on the couch and having trouble sleeping on beds.

I have been watching your videos for about two weeks now everyday for updates on Covid 19. I find your videos very calming. It’s so easy to start panicking when watching mainstream media. Your videos are clear, concise and practical. Your voice is calming as well. Thank you so much for this important information.

"There are only 2 things you should do in the bedroom and one of them is sleep."
me thinking to myself: what's the other thing you should do in the bedroom?
a few moments later..
"..you're going to eliminate that feeling of performance anxiety."
Ooh. I see what u did there.

The Japanese Surgeon incident should be very concerning. 3 days of patients, good luck tracking down all those contacts.

My epilepsy is hugely improved with a good sleep pattern. I love my sleepy time, (sorry to sound soppy), but it soooo important. My boyfriend has bouts of insomnia so im not ignorant to how unpleasant it can be. Blackout curtains are good, no tv and a good bed, although I do read in bed. ( The process of reading has always relaxed me, even as a child).

Thankyou for informative videos, watching this channel and Dr Campbell on the progress of this infection has reawakened my science background as well as keeping things in perspective.x
