I worked through that exact workbook and its easy. I only got about 79 %right. I'm not going to make excuses why. I would highly suggest Chris McMullin's workbooks for anyone wanting to do some math problems. I view doing math like a game like Sudoku but better. Sudoku why I started doing math. I wanted something more challenging.

Pre-Algebra was the last time I felt confident in math. I was an in-class tutor. Then the debilitating depression started, as well as a really lousy algebra teacher (cared more about Young Life than real life) and it was all downhill from there. I did take algebra when I went to a two-year college and the second class had an excellent professor and I almost get that confident glow again, but the first class had a former football coach as an adjunct and even though it’s been 22 years, I still remember going up after class to talk to him about something I didn’t understand and he snapped at me “IT’S IN THE TEXTBOOK! DIDN’T YOU READ THE TEXTBOOK?!”
