The best addition on the Mangá is about Saria's Ocarina. Instead of assuming that Link threw it away once he got the Ocarina of Time, it's shown that Ganondorf got it, think it was the relic, then smashed it when he realized he was fooled.

Also Malon explicitly having a crush on Link is adorable
