Man, if Lalo was in Breaking Bad, Walter would've had no shot after Tuco died. This man was a whole other kind of beast in comparison. He wasn't a drug junkie, he was smart, determined, very physically capable, tactical, no remorse, and all hidden behind a grin that kept you guessing how much he actually knows. It says something when Gus of all people had his entire team searching day and night and going to such lengths to try to prevent Gus from being killed, and Lalo STILL got the jump on him. He may have died, but he made one hell of an impression. Walt may have been top dog in his time, but it says something that Saul was relieved, despite kneeling in front of an open grave with guns pointed at his head.

It explains Gus’ attitude in breaking bad. No longer was he worried (on a single man) about losing his life. Lalo was a monster in himself. Gus was fully a non feeling machine but Lalo took the other extreme. A calculated violent Demon who took pleasure in positioning himself. Fortunately he was killed off or Mistah White would have been over. Also lowkey can’t believe this series did the trope of bringing an Uber powerful enemy for a prequel that the cast of the original show would never be able to take out.
