Assalamualikum, If no hereafter isn't it similar to sleeping for eternity, ? When we sleep we don't realize what's going on anymore. So it will not matter at all. If there is life after death there is also regret, realization, etc. and if there is no life after death we lose memories, realization and everything else. I don't know if this makes sense. May Allah forgive and have mercy on us. Amen❤❤❤

While I have many disagreements with Zakir Naik especially political ones, one of his amazing abilities is that he can take a question like this and can turn it into an almost half an hour lecture. Not many people can do that.
Most people would only answer this question for a couple of minutes.
He Zakir Naik is a very, very, very intelligent man.
