Simply because HE wanted to go, and, even though they didn't really want to lose him, City were happy that they got the right deal no fuss from Atletico, they simply put their offer in and it was too good for City to turn down .. simple as that!

The ONE and ONLY thing Bobb needs to do if he gets into the starting XI is to NOT STOP doing what he's been doing on the field. Just play fearlessly as he's been.

Alvarez is a real G he didn’t care that he was @ City, he knew he wouldn’t play much so he was out! £82mill though 😳🤯

Respect to Pep for not holding his players hostage

They sold Sterling, Jesus, Zilichenko, in the same window, and they won treble, the following season. They moved Mhrez, Gundogan, and they won EPL. Am not suggesting they will win EPL next season, but I admire the way this club conduct themselves, they have clear picture on what they are doing. Am huge Arsenal Fan but I really like them

Shows the difference in desire. Look at someone like Grealish who played less but still seems happy staying on the bench. He literally missed out on a Euros spot, yet here he is still at City

I suspect that also Grealish is also next to be sold if he doesn't manage to get any game time.

Damn stupid...all haaland did is waiting for people to pass the ball to him...unlike alvarez that will run with the ball and score

Pep’s learnt from Wenger! If any players not happy & wants to go he lets them go. SAME as Wenger eg Henry, Bergkamp, Viera etc

Pep Will definitely allow Alvarez to leave due to his relationship with his daughter

He wanted to go and Pep's phylosophy is that he will not force any player to stay if they wish to leave.

I think this is a blow for City. But I also said losing Gundogan & Mahrez last summer was a blow yet they still won the league. This idiot also said losing Gabriel & Sterling was a blow yet they went on to win the league. So I clearly know nothing

So if Haaland gets injured who will play upfront for City?

And now whistling Frenkie is the biggest mistake barca fans are making. Bernal and Casado cannot effect Fliick's system of double pivot like Frankie. He is still the best all round midfielder Barca has now. For the double pivot Gavi and Frenkie with Pedri on top of the diamond is Flick's dream. Fans should stop nonsense and watch football.
