I was there in 96 as part of a US Navy Seabee “Tiger Team”. We went there for 30 days to build a camp for a follow on Civic Action Team (CAT Team). Loved our time there but didn’t get to see much. Only had 1 day off in 30. Thanks for showing what’s it like today.

I visited Ponape 21 years ago. We went there for our honeymoon. We stayed there for 3 weeks. We stayed at “The Village Hotel” not sure if still exist. Back then was the best hotel. Did you know at the first water fall that you guys visited is full of electrical eels? I did nit know until I arrived at the hotel and was told if you take some crackers and throw them on the water they will came up and eat them 😁 Did you participate at their Kava Kava ceremony? Did you like their food? People were super friendly. I love it! Hoping one day I can go back. Thanks for sharing your video. Brought me great memories. My husband past away 11 years ago.
