Awesome! I bought an Okuma travel surf rod in a tube. Bought a couple of the heavy duty ones as well. Just as small and stout. They stopped making them a few years ago. Glad I got it when I did.

More segments, more likely to break. Any pole that might hook onto monstrous fish or maybe a dolphin should have as few segments as possible. The long the pole, the more important it is to have fewer pieces.
