I'm so glad this series gets to continue, even without Kobe.

A Triangle analysis of the Bulls by Phil Jackson himself. This is special

Why doesn’t this have more views? This is GOAT level material.

I would’ve loved to see Kobe’s reaction to the documentary and him breaking down this tape watching it made me sad about Kobe again

One of the main keys/benefits to the triangle is it doesn't give you time to think about how you might screw up, like in iso-ball, and other weaker offenses with less movement. In the triangle, there is constant movement, and a smooth flow. It relaxes your brain and puts your brain and body in a good cohesive state. Good muscle memory.

This system is the reason Kobe & MJ had low apg numbers but casuals wouldn’t know that

It’s weird not hearing Kobe’s voice on Detail, but Phil Jackson is just as legendary

Thanks so much for continuing this Phil. I still think about Kobe every day. He got so much of his inspiration from you. It’s a blessing to learn from my hero’s teacher

I think fans don’t actually understand how disciplined Jordan was. He played in very restrictive systems with Dean Smith/Phil Jackson, yet rarely did he ever free-lance & break the offense. And when he did, it was usually at the end of game situations where possessions were more limited.

Just look at how he scored. There was no wasted dribble & he rarely forced shots. Even during Kobe’s last two titles, the Lakers broke out of the triangle on a regular basis and free-lanced the offense.

Two of the best offensive strategies in the 90s. Bulls' triangle offense and Jazz's pick and roll

Rest In Peace Gianna Bryant and Kobe Bryant.

Ron Harper was a key player. Very smart. He knew how to play the game. He performed a great role in the team.

I’ve watched basketball for years but never through a coach’s eyes. Love this stuff - almost want to re-watch every game to see the missed details.

I always appreciate watching a good play. But having someone explaining the execution in depth the way Phil did.. mind blown!

I hope Jordan goes and makes at least one episode, detailing Kobe's game. That'd be the ultimate tribute.
