Lmao “well my favorite moment is when I told Michael exactly what to do and then we won because of me”

"I was gonna suit up and shoot the shot too, but I thought I'm going to let MJ take it"! Phil Jackson

He is not lying. You can tell how MJ hugged him after the play in a way you hug someone that helped you and guided you through something.

When a player as great as Michael respects you enough to listen that’s a special coaching moment.

I was there, this shot was memorable, and it will go down to history just by seen how Michael Jordan performed as he practiced. Greetings from Utah.

Phil Jackson: “I told him to do a crossover and hit a mid range shot. Then told him to celebrate by jumping up and throwing 3 total first pumps.” True story

Thats what a great coach does. He studies opponents and learns what they are going to do. And he keeps calm during competition and coaches great players. Great job Phil and Bulls. The man has proved he is a great coach.

Even in this mindset all Phil can think about is coming together and working as a team. This is the reason why he has so many championship rings

The greatest player in NBA history and the greatest coach in NBA history together, ...you will never see something like that in the NBA. I'm grateful with life to let me watch this.

Just because you have great players doesn't mean you can coach, Phil was the best!
