one of my friends once tried to put his "new" GT 520 the wrong way, not the sheild inside, but the pins outside, yes he wated to put the shield in the right place and place the pins to the outside (cooler up = better temps)
He also broke the gpu in the same day

I like using a brass hammer to help slot it in all the way, dont forget the impact to tighten thise peaky cooler bolts too
