Today I decided to start working on the numbers for the racecar! They took way longer then I thought but came out great for hand painted! Also I started adding a few more visual pieces to complete the look like an aluminum spoiler and a couple stickers on the fenders. This 68 nascar charger is really starting to come together! I hope you guys enjoy the video and be sure to like and subscribe for more updates!

Seeing the masking come off is both satisfying and nerve racking.

Spoiler looks good. I like all the rivets instead of screws.

You and Junkyard Digs are my 2 favorite car channels.

I would make patch panels. The car really looks like a stock car which definitely does not look stock.

I’m doing my 68 in a NASCAR inspired style. I’m making a wicker bill type spoiler for the trunk. I want a Daytona wing. Buttt. 😂. Man I love that car.

Also. Im not a fan of white letters out on the tires. But it works on this car.

I really want to run the stock car sized tires on the front of mine too
But I can’t bring myself to cutting up the two very nice front fenders on mine

Did you try clear coating after everything? Did that help the pealing

This car just freaks me out. It's so good. I like how nothing is done to a higher standard of finish than necessary. I don't particularly like vinyl graphics that much and think they look especially out of place on anything with an Old or Traditional vibe. As a fellow artist let me encourage you to get a few lettering and striping brushes. Those numbers would have taken you a fraction of the time w One-Shot or even Rustoleum pot paint and revisions and corrections take only a pass w a thinner rag. And with your eye and drawing ability they would look genuine. Great car.

Every time you do something to this it looks better and better. Are you going to put in windows and maybe heat so you can drive in the winter?
