1968 Charger Nascar Build // Ep 6: Test Fitting the Charger Body

Today is the first time test fitting the charger body on to the stock car chassis! I have already cut out the majority of the car to just leave as little as possible but it looks like I might need a little more trimming to get this to fit! I knew it would take a lot of test fitting to get this to work haha. Luckily I have the skid steer to raise it up with ease. Stay tuned as I keep chopping this thing up to get it to fit properly! The Good thing is that the wheel base looks perfect!

Hi Floyd, whole lotta work trying to fit that body. I was hoping like you that it would lower without getting hung up. Nothing goes easy does it. Hope you figure it out buddy. Big Al.

Might it help any if you tilted the drivers side of the frame upwards a bit until the rocker gets below the door cage area?

Hey Floyd would you be interested in selling those inside structure pieces that the rear quarter glass bolts to? I need both sides and unfortunately AMD does not reproduce these parts yet. Please let me know.

cut the car all the way to the top of the wheel well so youre left with the top half only (youll need to find a way to support the front engine bay i dont think the a pillars will hold it alone. Find a way weld the bottom rails back or make something new after you attach it to the chassis.
