Did You Know - 4-Pin 26W CFL to 4-Pin 13W LED Lamp

Here we show you how to swap / retrofit a 4-pin CFL to a 4-pin LED lamp (bulb). It's plug-and-play! No rewiring is necessary and it's as easy as changing any light bulb. You cut the wattage in half and extend the life of the bulb by up to 5 times or more.

The CFL contains mercury and lead. They typically don't last as long as desired or advertised. The more they are cycled (turned on/off), the faster they degrade and fail. LEDs do not suffer from this and provide instant, full brightness from the moment they are turned on!

Products demonstrated are a 26w CFL being replaced with a 13w LED. 4-pin LEDs are available in a vertical or horizontal configuration.

What about the ballast unit? I thought it needed to be bypassed for an LED light to work?

When you replace the CFL to LED, don't you have to remove the ballast?

What about a deep can? We have the new LED, but since it is far back in the fixture, we get some undesired shadowing on the walls.

LEDs in terms of energy effieciency are great, BUT when it comes to output light frequency spectrum, how compareable are they?

You say no delayed start but there was a delay when you turned on the light?
