That purple BRZ looks really cool! 😎👍 And the news about the solid state batteries in the Charger EV prototypes sounds exciting! Lots of interesting stories. Thanks for keeping us up to date! 🙂

The fullscreen cluster is a downgrade compared to the hybrid screen/analog cluster in my opinion. It was so nicely done.

Euro 7 is very tough to meet so it is actually impressive they kept the same power level, even with the substantial changes. Cleaner cars are great.

They don’t need to make heat pump standard, just make it standard on all wheel drive models only, this way, people who live in the southern United States doesn’t need heat pump, and thus gives them a good front trunk space, and also cheaper to purchase.

Nice to see EV prices coming down in a world of continuously increasing gas vehicle prices.

Dodge should make the charger a hybrid with the hurricane inline 6. And call it the hellcat.

Porsche GT3 price hike: I always thought of GT3 as "if you have to ask [what the price is], it's not for you" so a 50-60k increase feels like "so what?"

Thanks for an informative weekly update. You're the only one who does this type of video.

Really solid 2025 Mach E updates. Rumor has it Ford is working to get the battery back to tax credit eligible over the next handful of months. If they get that thing back to full tax credit eligibility, sales will rebound.

The decrease in hp for the Subaru boxer is likely due to it implementing an Atkinson cycle instead of an Otto cycle. Toyota does the same for all its hybrid models. The Atkinson cycle reduces pumping losses for increased fuel economy at the cost of additional power and torque, but the electric motor of course makes up for those losses.

I can get a Mach-e for dramatically less that a toyota GR Corolla?! What is going on here LOL

We used to have a hybrid Crosstrek. They're pretty rare though. If Toyota is sharing tech with them, they are holding back on the bit about how to make power. Also, terrible time to work at a Stellantis dealership

If I remember correctly Subaru did a Hybrid Crosstrek a few years ago that failed because it add too much weight, took up a noticeable amount of cargo room and didn’t increase gas mileage enough to justify its big jump in price. What's changed this time?

Dodge made a huge mistake by announcing that solid state batteries because now nobody’s gonna buy the ones coming out this year. They be obsolete in a couple years.🤪

Porsche doing Porsche things once again.

[Sneers at the Euro 7 mandate]

Unfortunately, what affects Porsche in Europe _will_ eventually have an impact on us here in the US.

What a pity...

Stay classy my friend.

*disclaimer still watching video as I’m typing this*
I used to like Subaru when I was younger but the older I get the more I realize their only selling point is their Awd system. They don’t make the most power, they don’t get the best gas mileage, they’re very seldomly ever best in class Anything and now I just realized they don’t even have an hybrid available? Why are people buying these things when the other Japanese and even domestic manufacturers are offering better? They need to wake up if they want to stay in American sales in my opinion. They can’t just get by with the crosstrek.

Subaru may have changed up the engine cycle for the hybrid. Since efficiency is the goal maybe they went to an atkinson cycle as part of the design thus the power loss.
