Best Impossible Vegan Ribs, just when you think it can't get any better, you up and have a viewer make a suggestion. When trying that suggestion, you find a true gem. We altered our original recipe to use King Oyster Mushrooms, instead of Jackfruit, and "WOW", both are great, but the Mushrooms, definitely give the Vegan Ribs, and juicier texture, We will be making these again.

Recipe
1 (12oz) pkg. Impossible Meat
3 King Oyster Mushrooms (shredded)
1 T brown sugar
1 tsp. smoked paprika
2 tsp. liquid smoke
1/2 medium onion (chopped)
1/2 tsp ground sage
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp steak seasoning
black pepper to taste
BBQ sauce

Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees F. Combine all ingredients into a large bowl. Mix until well combined. Spray baking dish with cooking spray, place it in the oven and bake up to 1 hour 10 minutes in traditional oven. In a convection oven, I cooked total time approximately 45 minutes, then removed and covered with BBQ sauce for 5 additional minutes. In the Convection Oven.

Hello again I make these a lot I want to thank u again for this recipe because its great I’ve learnt to buy a lot of these kinds of mushrooms and i put vegan Italian hot sausage with a package of the beyond meat i double the spices with extra oinion and garlic powder again ty its the bomb even meat eaters like this :-)

Oh my goodness! This looks and sounds delicious! As someone whose Dad is from KC and who also lived in KC, who both LOVE BBQ, who are now both headed in the direction of vegetarian/vegan this would be perfect! Two questions: what’s the name of the specific pan you used with the addition added to it and can you use a regular oven if you don’t have the convection? Thank you so much!

Im making your ribs now i cannot wait to see how they taste though i used the hot sausage and mix of plain beyond burger meat . Ill let u know if it was worth it . lol ok i just made theses and wow who needs to iill a pig so satisfying, also i turned down the heat to 350 degrees and cooked at 30 minute’s wow im so happy ty for yr hard work again. I only cook this for 30 minuets :)

You should try with both jackfruit and the king oyster it might be perfect!!
