I don't ever replace the brakes, I just pull a Fred Flintstone and use my feet.

Remember as long as there are no leaks, the brake fluid in the master cylinder should go down. When the level is at low, your pads are probably ready for replacement.

Excellent advice! It's less expensive to replace the brake pads than to replace the rotors!

In the case of my wife's Mazda 6, her brake wobble was caused by a seized caliper slide pin on the front driver side. Her pads and rotors had plenty of meat left but didn't want to take any chances so changed them all out. Flushed her brake fluid too because the pedal was super spongy. She's riding nice and tight, braking smooth and stopping like brand new again.

I used to be a "HEAVY" on the brakes driver & went thru rotors, faster than grandma goes thru tissues.Yes cheapies do warp alot quicker than QUALITY ones. 😲

Napa Adaptive one pads and rotors. Best brake pads and rotors I've ever used as far as longevity and performance goes.

I was cheap & bought the Chinese ones for an Odyssey. Worst mistake as they warped within a week. Got Bosch ones now. Smooth as with no vibration.

My ‘98 Lincoln has thick rotors. Our local NAPA still turns rotors. Resurfaced like new!

I've never had any warped rotors on any car I've personally owned since I started driving 36+ years ago. Though I had a company car back in '99 (Chevy Malibu) that had an issue with warped rotors which were replaced under warranty. I really hope I never have to replace the carbon ceramic rotors on my Z06 since they are $1, 600+/each but then again they can handle way more heat so warping isn't an issue.

I've been buying cheap rotors and he's quite right. They last me about 20 000km before the vibration causes my false teeth to fall out.
