The first nurse practitioner-led clinic in the state of Massachusetts, HD Pediatrics, opened at 1524 Turnpike St Box #1, Stoughton, MA. Chris Maiorana, vice president of Practice Real Estate Group, negotiated Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) Robyn Hayes' lease and put her on her way to becoming a pioneer in the healthcare industry. NPs are now able to work independently in Massachusetts thanks to legislation that Governor Charlie Baker signed and that became effective on January 1, 2021.
