These arguments have been made since the beginning of time. And these people act as though they are asking them for the first time

Ben is so good at these speaking engagements. So true with what he is saying.

Isn't it funny that the ones that have barely lived life and worked hard and actually didn't live the experience are the ones trying to argue about how its done

Exactly, the problem we have in modern society is too many people concerned (and with too much time to be concerned) about what you drive, what you wear, what you own, your social status... Etc. Social status are for animals, we shouldn't care about others choice of transportation or clothes and just enjoy life with what we have.

20 years ago I was making $16 an hour less than I am now, and it doesn’t really feel like I’m making anymore money now compared to back then. Inflation and cost of living have wiped out the increase in wages

It's all about jealousy, entitlement, selfishness, and lack of accountability. Too many people have been told that these things are acceptable and it has been increasing over the last 30 years or so.

Why don’t we start the wealth distribution with HIS Assets 🤣

One sin that often gets associated with people who support the redistribution of wealth always commit is thou shalt not covet. People always get so bent out of shape of how well the people at the top are doing, and they try to associate that with their current status. Like they feel that their owed something.

Some cultures enjoy having a stay home mother that likes taking care of children and the home.
The only way to equal out this is to force people into occupations.

Essentially what happened was that when we created the middle class we created people who were living the lifestyles of upper class nobles but who still clung desperately to their identity as poor people and their jealousy of those who had more than them.

As long as everything is fair under the law. I don’t give a shit what peoples lives are like. No one is a victim in America.

Totally accurate. We don’t deserve luxury lifestyles because some people have them. We just need the poorest people to have their hierarchy of needs met so they can do their best. Life will never be fair so that’s the best situation we can hope for without being socialists and destroying our economy for everyone, especially our poorest people

That doesn’t really make sense. It does matter if a guy is making 100x than normal citizens because when inflation hits from all the money printing his 100x drops a bit but all normal citizens regular salary fall way behind even the normal growth wage raise so you start drowning even when you keep trying to swim. We need regular people to take out the trash every week, cook food, manage sewer lines and they won’t ever get paid 100x but their jobs are vital to society to function.

I’m a hardcore conservative and trade jobs will never come close to tech jobs but trade jobs are more valuable

Ben wanting to see the poor improve is the opposite of most socialists. Even Orwell observed that socialists hate the rich more than they love the poor.
