The Huawei P20 Pro is the Chinese manufacturer’s latest flagship smartphone, and in terms of camera tech, is arguably the most innovative device we’ve seen in quite some time. A quick look at the device’s back plate reveals that the P20 Pro is the first smartphone to feature a triple camera setup. However, Huawei hasn’t simply slapped a third sensor and lens onto its current dual-camera system.

I think the long exposure mode in low light is very innovative. Its very practical. Lots of people will find it very useful. This alone will set P20 apart from other flagships.

Weird how you only have words of praise for the front facing camera, another reviewer provided P20 and S9 samples of the front facing cameras. And the P20 softens the picture too much which is visible from the comparison.

A few things. The front capture in 1080p, you just need to turn off the beauty mode.
I think you also forgot to mention the night mode, the most impressive feauture of this phone :) Otherwise love your review, great job!

I've watched many comparison videos between these 2 cameras. I'm not sure what was wrong with your S9 because they looked worse than in others videos. The P20 photos looked on par however.

Thanks for sharing this great video! I'm thinking of getting the P20 Pro to replace my entry-level DSLR, but the shakiness of the 4K video is putting me off. I do intend to get a gimbal for it though. It looks like you were using a gimbal in this video as well (3:18)? That solved the shakiness issue?
