Great video as always. I am buying this car shortly. Here's why the Ionic 5 N appeals to me and is a good fit: I'm in my 50's and owned many muscle cars in my youth. I love sports cars but have a family / dog that prohibit me having a two-seat sports car as my daily driver. I work 2 miles from home and rarely travel more than 20 miles per week total. I own my own company selling athletic equipment, and sometimes need to bring samples to my customers that will not fit in a conventional trunk. I am also aware of how electric cars are better for the environment, and can charge the car overnight in my garage. (Gas on the central coast California is very expensive). Did I mention I'm in my 50's? I long for the days of driving something fast and exciting, but still want to be practical. With this SUV, I can turn up the engine sound inside the cabin, while keeping it quiet on the outside and not piss off the wife and neighbors. I'm too old to drive a Mustang, and too rebellious to drive a mini-van. What else can I say? I love the way the Hyundai Ionic 5 N looks, as well as performs. The fact it's electric, under $100K and a family size SUV makes this a no-brainier for me.

The Ioniq 5 N is for the mandatory switch to all EV vehicles. The car is aimed at those who will complain the most about the "feel" of driving dying with EVs. Hyundai is trying to make an EV still feel like driving.

I would buy that car in a heartbeat. You don't have to take it to the track and you don't have to use the fake sounds modes.

The N brand debuted in the states with the Veloster N and the i30 N in European markets. All ICE N models use the same 2.0Liter Turbo 4! The 5N’s Ignition sound is modeled after the 2.0L with the DCT. As the current owner of A 22 Veloster N DCT I’d love to get a 5N after this car is paid off. And no, I’ll keep this car, it’s a blast. I highly suggest driving a 21 Veloster R-Spec and a Veloster N DCT back to back. Ive had both, and you’ll instantly see what the N brand is about and it’ll help you understand the type of buyer for these cars. Think Korean BMW! LOL!\

Hyundai's Ioniq 5 N is a masterpiece. Truly one of its kind. And, I think, an important car in automotive history.

I think the I5N is for car enthusiasts, who happen to be into tech, that can't afford a Taycan. It would be really fun and perform well, while not being only a straight-line appliance.

I would love to buy this car. I love the design of the car and the performance it delivers is absolutely nuts. I wouldn't drive it on the track but on the Autobahn here in Germany, wich is admittedly not that different. The shifting gears and so on is fun, but the instant speed you get is just amazing. That's the neat part. This options are what they are: options. You can just turn them off and enjoy a nice, quiet EV with insane performance

The benefits of taking this car to the track are incredible, the only consuable is the tires. Regen brakes are strong, gears, instant torque, and it does everything else too, suv cargo space, eco mode that makes it really tame, it seems like the perfect 1 car.

Ioniq5 N is more than those gimmicks you've mentioned.

The Ioniq 5N is for somebody like me. I like playing Forza games, but I would never race in real life. I wanna emulate the racing sounds and amount of money to tune and work on a car that I wouldn’t have. It's for somebody who's a full grown adult, but has the child-like wonder brain. It's just fun.

This car is for me. I love the retro styling and having owned almost exclusively hatchbacks and wagons my whole life I love that it’s a “hatchback”.

I appreciate what Hyundai is doing with the sounds, however, if I’m driving an electric car I don’t want to pretend to be something I’m not. I want to hear the electric motor whine and spool even if it needs to be synthetically pumped in through speakers.

Like any sport, timing is important. The noises and feedback to the driver allow them to time their actions around a track. If a car is too quiet and smooth, you lose this feedback; negatively impacting the driver's performance. While it may seem like a gimmick, for racers on the track, this feedback is important.

Ioniq 5n is for someone like me, who wants a reliable car with less maintenance, less headaches, a bit techie and a bit eco-friendly, but FUN at the same time. I love cars, I love speeding, but I don’t want to waste my time for periodical maintenance. That’s why I drive a Tesla right now and so far I’m pretty satisfied. It’s fast, reliable, and pretty fun to drive in general, but not fun as driving a gas car not gonna lie. I always felt something is missing, but I was not able to find an alternative. But Hyundai brought up an answer that I was looking for. Now I’m seriously considering to “upgrade”.

On who the car is for.

Its for someone who wants a good range and quiet car that can haul groceries that with a couple clicks becomes a roaring track beast that has an inclusive track warranty. It's a new breed of car that perfectly blends performance and practicality. This is the future of performance cars.

You no longer much make incredible sacrifices or own two cars for genuine fun weekend performance and grocery getting, the ioniq 5n sits perfectly on the precipice.😊

It's for someone that wants an EV that can also have fun and perform on a track. The sounds and shifting I would assume give the driver more of an idea how the car is performing rather than just being silent. For example a lot of drivers just go by the sound of a car to determine what gear and how fast they are going. Also this car did just do Pikes Peak basically in stock form. Not many EV's can do that

Im on my 2nd BEV and would Soooo love I5N! Its the best of both worlds! And when its getting Soo much critical acclaim from ex racing drivers and famous tv car personalities like Jeremy Clarkson and was voted best performance bev of the year by a very popular UK car magazine the Koreans should be applauded for being the 1st to do this! Cheers

Yes! Looking forward to your video!!!!

This car is for backroads (and tracking) and people that want to drive and don’t get fooled by “FSD.”

Own the 5N in abyss black. I have a kid and dogs, wanted a hatchback and seating room. Coming from a Mustang convertible that we outgrew as a family.

Loving it as a daily. Edmunds squeezed out 250 range. I’ve seen 240 city daily on my commute… (5-7miles). But let me be honest, I don’t drive it that way 😂 LOVE IT.

This car is made to show car enthusiasts that even though electric cars seem inevitable, we can still make them fun and engaging. Or at least try

I have the ioniq 6 and it’s awesome. My dealership only had one 5N and they blew a tire. It’s several weeks back ordered 😅 great EVs
