Life is incredibly short. I turned 40yrs old this year and i'm absolutely astounded how fast that time has gone. It's like i was a kid just the other week.

I have come to realize that happiness doesn’t mean getting what you want, but enjoying what you have.

The only time you should look in someone else’s cup is to make sure they have enough.

"People can manage, they just have to want to" What an absolute gem this woman is.

I agree with everything she said except for the part where she implied young people these days are selfish (for not wanting to raise a family). Back then, women were expected to raise a family, and men were able to support a family of 5 on one income. It really is much harder today. Don’t get me wrong, my husband and I have a child… it is a A LOT of work, and should only be for people who truly want kids.

My father said to me on the day he was dying in a hospital that if you lived a hundred and ten years it would still seem short . He was 81 when he died in 2010 .. I'm 60 now and I realize every day that he was so right ...

Young adults can’t afford to move out of their parent’s homes let alone 4 kids by the age of 30 these days. 🤷🏻‍♀️ good advice on not wasting your life and time though

She’s doing really well at 90. So sharp and articulate and aware. Great advice too!

She is so well articulate. Doesn’t have a delay in speech, and I see no signs of dementia or anything like that. Good for her.

I really felt it deeply when she said that it’s important to have a nice, comfortable home to come to. What an incredible woman, great video.

Her last sentences-“ Don’t waste your time, don’t waste your life, life is short! “ Sent chills up my spine. Wasted 50 years of my life and just hoping I can live as long as she does to make up for it!

“Don’t look at other people.” I read a quote yesterday that said “comparison is the thief of joy.” It’s no accident that that most social media sites are nothing but a big life comparison to everyone else. I think social media has to die, if people are ever going to truly live again. It is categorically horrible for the human mind and spirit.

the accumulation of things is so real. having comfort and peace is far more important.

I completely agree with this precious woman, so very sharp-minded and wise! May she be greatly blessed continually and a long, good life in Jesus Christ.
