Allowing individual states to control the mask mandates is one of the reasons we will never beat this. You have to do the same thing at the same time everywhere for it to work. If you're fumigating your house, you don't do one room at a time, you do the whole house.

Yesterday on Facebook, back and forth with some healthcare workers talking about mask mandate, of course, the conversation, I tried to ignore those “word”, ended with government controlling and dumb masks. However, when I typed back for the last time, “did you wear masks when you worked with Covid? And why?”, this conversation completely stopped without any words back. I didn’t win either and even felt 😭. A healthcare worker said in public that schools should not mandate masks even if she really knows the masks work very well to protect herself in ICU from Covid 19. The reason why she didn’t agree on masks mandate is only because of unknown government controlling. If you really believe in this theory, why not fight against or even resign from hospital to against hospital’s controlling on you? There are a lot of healthcare moving into other territories. If you want to bs me, please prove you are a real parent who have a kid under 12, otherwise done conversation.

The fact of the matter is, do mask work? We don't really know.
I didn't see these same parents or public health officials worry about theme parks or mega shopping centers over the summer where 99% didn't wear a mask. If parents want their kids to wear it, that's the parents responsibility. If not, that's also the parent's resposibility. No mandates!
