Survivor records moments of flight crash in Kazakhstan

Subkhankul Rahimov, a survivor of Azerbaijan Airlines flight J2-8243, recorded the intense moments just before the plane made an emergency landing on December 25. Before the crash, he recited the Shahadah — the Islamic declaration of faith.

The flight crash-landed in Kazakhstan after experiencing alleged external physical and technical interference mid-flight. The root cause of those difficulties still under dispute. 38 passengers lost their lives in the crash.
