F-15 pilot here. The maneuver he is performing is called an SFO (simulated flame out). It's a corkscrew-ish flight path from directly above the field to be able to land with no engine power. It's an F-16 in the video.

I remember the 2020 Covid19- Flyover from Fort Dix McGuire Joint Base. My son & I were on Top of a Jungle Gym in the Direct Path of 3 Jet Fighters in Delta Formation headed Low&Slow towards us. My 10.yr old son held a Salute. To our Amazement The F16 in the 3rd Spot- He Tipped his Wings at us. Very Cool Gesture that Made our Year better. Incidentally, when the F16 pilot did it he had to throttle up a bit to compensate. An awesome memory from an unknown F16 Pilot. Thank you for your service also.

I’m a pilot, and I can’t even see that damn altimeter. But I can just tell from the view outside the cockpit he lost a lot of altitude very quickly. Impressive maneuver 👏

During training years ago I had two F4s come screaming down on a mock bombing run against an anti aircraft gun I was standing next to and pulled up from the dive it was almost ear shattering, ground rumbling badass as hell. I must have been grinning like crazy .🙉🤣

I got to experience it all first a ride! USMC F/A-18D. 2.5 Hour ride. We hit the tanker to refuel and everything. Top speed Mach 1.2. I'll never forget it!

Wow. Look at all the paperwork on his legs. Their is so much going on in his mind. Next level multitasking. I don't know very much about aviation but I think you have to be very intelligent. You have to absolutely love it and devote your entire life. Not to mention fearless. Nothing can break these folks.

I was in a commercial plane coming in to LAX when the pilot obviously got new instructions from the tower to approach from the other direction. He put the plane on edge and swung around the airport, diving down at about 20 or 30 degrees to put it gently on the runway. Everyone clapped. Truly an ex-military pilot.

I had the opportunity of taking a ride in an F-4 Phantom it was absolutely amazing

I worked the F-16 (this aircraft) for 19 years and also got a ride at Edwards AFB. 1.5 hours, 1.2 Mach, also did the low tower fly by at 50 feet off the deck at 350kts. One of the best experiences of my life!!!
