What is this black magic?!
A food youtuber who doesn't waste time and gets straight to the point.
A youtuber who replies to pretty much every comment.
He makes vegetarian ramen.
Has deep soothing but commanding voice.
These were all unknown to me before... I thank thee.

I’ve just researched his channel and he said he’s not vegan. Can I just say it makes me so happy to see non-vegans still cooking and consuming plant based recipes! Actually giving the food a chance even if the diet doesn’t work for them!

I find it fascinating how people react to food from the East in how versatile it can be. Not having any meat products/byproducts in food is very normal to me bc I grew up with it. I find it funny how some people completely lose their minds in not having meat every single day.

Btw, about the dishes: I really did try these and they were AMAZING. I even took the time to make the garlic oil. You guys really need to try it.

I was a huge meat lover for most of my life and never ate vegetables or anything healthy for that matter. Recently I felt like I was having a heart attack and decided that I needed to make a life change for my 2 year-old daughter. Switched seemingly overnight to a plant-based diet and it has been difficult to say the least...but these kind of videos motivate me to keep going. Thank you for sharing these recipes!

I appreciate you did a single serving. Makes it so much easier to gauge the amount you want to serve.

Dear Mr. Young, I made the Shio Ramen (without the dried seaweed and used packaged noodles) and it was still superb! One small thing I learned from you, going forward, is I now put soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, etc. in the bowl first, then add the soup or stew. The dishes taste much more vibrant. Thank you so much for your delicious work! Peace and blessings from Texas USA ♡♡♡

Great tip to use the sieve to break up the miso. So simple yet I never thought of it and have been battling the dreaded miso clumps for years!!

Thanks!! I know my way around making udon and ramen with fish and other meats, buuut my gf is vegan and ive found my goto food to make for her has been homemade pizza. So it was nice to see what kinds of things I can use to substitute for the meats flavorwise. Although she is allergic to mushrooms and prefers me to not use any msg in her meals so developing umami is a bit of a puzzle (not a chore, I really enjoy using my knowledge to work around the constraints so its fun)

As someone trying to limit dairy products, and who cant stomach much meat, I seriously thank you for these amazing recipes!! I've been on a serious weight loss journey (lost over 70kg all on my own 🥳) and I've recently been allowing myself more things like noodles and breads in a balanced lifestyle but honestly I was running out of delicious, healthy ways to prepare meals. This was suggested and I think it's going to be a lifesaver, especially as we get into the cooler months here in Australia!! Thank you so much! I can't wait to try!! (Also, omg, as an almond milk enthusiast I cant wait to try the tan tan recipe!! I love it when things are vegan!!!! 🥰)

The Tan Tan ramen is DELICIOUS! I thought the Satay one was my favourite but man this one was FABULOUS! I added broccoli florets in stead of bok choy, king oyster mushrooms and marinated tempeh but left the spicy oil out and both my 2 yo and non vegan husband loved it! Thank you so much for all your work, delicious recipes and straightforward channel! From Prague with love!
