Thanks to LazyD for the patchwork that made this video possible, creating a cohesive show experience using as much of the live footage as possible.
There are two "sets" to this using the available footage to make a completely cohesive concert experience.

I have redone this in 4k in the past, this was a test with new modeling to 1080p. My goal was to see if a 4k upscale with my new ML modeling would work better on this video. That said, I think the new model does work better, and I will be re-releasing both sets in 4k soon, until then, enjoy. :)

If you are able, please support the continuing upgrades of these videos if you are able, every single dollar goes STRAIGHT TO NEEDED EQUIPMENT!!!:

Venmo: @Christopher-Hazard-0
Cashapp: $hazard4k

All donations go STRAIGHT TO EQUIPMENT that is needed to carry out the work needed to get through the amount of video that needs to be processed. This takes a lot of powerful equipment and other associated overhead that comes with running a bunch of workstations being fully throttled rendering 4k video 24/7. :)
THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I was in the hospital recently facing the Grateful end. I discovered these videos MR CH. I am of this era. I was 18 in 1974 and the Dead were my world. Your remastered videos made a difference in MY getting better. I just wanted to tell you. Thanks from the bottom of my recovering HEART. You never know how you can touch someone's life so far away. Life is a real trip. - 65 years old and I am invigorated by a journey to my past. Enough about me, this a thank you to YOU C.H.

Goddamn, man. Bobby is literally the undisputed GOAT of comping rhythm behind a lead player during this period. This is honestly as good as it gets in this situation, and I 100% believe no other guitarist on earth could play as good as Bobby does in his position here. He is such a key part of the overall feel during every single jam. Dude doesn't play the same chord twice. He is always listening, always reacting, and beautifully following the lead with fully-voiced chords that provide an impeccable foundation on which Jerry is allowed to explore and take to its highest level.

Every time Jerry takes it somewhere new, you can bet Bobby is 100% riding shotgun with him for the whole journey and is able to propel Jerry's lines into pure contextual magic in every jam. Obviously Phil does a fantastic job at that as well, but Bobby is truly the key to all of the incredible jams the Dead were able to crank out every single night during this period.

As a guitarist, his rhythm playing is something I strive to achieve. As with the rest of the band, he was just so unbelievably perfect in this era. It's always a magical connection to the music that I could spend hours and hours talking about. No one can top the good ol' Grateful Dead in this field.

Man that's the best uncle John's band ever. So jazzy, and jerry looks so young and healthy!
Beautiful set.

This is much much more watchable than later recordings because it photographs more than Garcia and Weir.

jesus fucking christ man, this era mix was as good as it fucking gets. Jerry, Bobby, and Phil's tones all revolve around each other and fill out the frequency spectrum absolutely perfectly, with all of them easily being audible and able to be heard clearly at any time. As much as I like the 80s stuff, this was when each member of the Dead were at their prime in every way. Just amazing.

My boyfriend and I used to watch this on repeat in our small home in Hawaii as we came down from a long, hard trip.

The sound on this video is just pure crispness. Shout out to uploader and people who cleaned/edited these videos together. Bumping on my speaker during my workout. Started crying at uncle John’s band for some reason? Well reasons that I’m going through most tumultuous times of my life now. Things happening over and over to me but I just keep on truckin. Anyways rant over. Have an amazing day you beautiful beauties. -Love from south side of Chicago.

Wow! Jerry was so fit looking... this some really good camera work, too. Having been born in eighty to thumpers in New England it took until Ninety one for me to become aware of proper music. Late at night I'd imagine Jerry improvising to the mountain wind and rain on the roof was the astonished, eager, and appreciative masses gathered for worship...

Then in 2018 I saw my first live show. Mayer is a precise, technical, and stylistic genius. Jerry was a rock god John is the father son and holy spirt of the guitar.
Thank Providence and Jerry that the music never stopped, thank karma and John that it sounds better and better every new day!!! Grateful Be, and Blessed !!!

I was 17 and I was there 2 nights. Winterland was HOT. Remember all the doors opened up on the upper deck. The first night we were allowed to sit up behind the stage on that upper level. Could look down on the stage from over/around the "wall". Wish I had a video camera then. Thank you for these videos.

The combination of everyone’s creativity is what’s so unique about the dead for me. They all approached their instrument like no one before then. No other guitarist could play such complimentary parts to Jerry’s playing than bob.
