andy warhol said everyone has 15 minutes of fame...well, i am more than satisfied with my 15 seconds of fame at the beginning of this "eyes of the world" video...although it was somewhat problematic after this winterland concert to drive around the bay area without having the DEAD license plate on the front of my VW van...but i will never forget the exhilarating high of briefly being on stage with my favorite band...

That's me dancing on stage during Phil's solo. I was sixteen. When I heard Eyes start up I just jumped on the stage and started dancing. I am so honored that Jerry included me in his film. Still dancing to Jerry and the boys all these years later and I guess I always will.

when the guy in the front row smiling starts shaking his head from side to side right after the beginning of the song ... gives me goose bumps every time.

I gave up trying to figure out even which song -- let alone which performance of which song -- was my "favorite ever, " when I realized it was always:
whatever's playing at the moment.

Jerry’s opening gambit kills me every time. His playing could be so...well, playful! Floating and whimsical yet snappy and precise at the same time. I spend most of my time obsessing over tiny little runs or details in show that I find so important. I love the dead and expect that I will spend the rest of my life pawing over Jerry’s playing.

One of my favorite songs ever. 🎵 I have many thoughts of those times, very often. Mid-late 80's and early 90's. I was grateful to go to many shows out here then, even a NYE. Simpler times for sure. wonderful. ❤❤❤❤❤❤💜

I think it's really hard to overstate just how loved this band is.

Probably my favorite Dead ever. Just so pretty and you get the feel of what it would have been like to be there.

:50 in his eyes. when you see them you just know. there is something about it that most wont ever fathom that feeling and then seeing his back and forth as the song kicks off its amazingly beautiful...

They never wanted to change anything, they just wanted you to be comfortable with who you are, sit back, and enjoy the music...

That was another time I think we all miss. But Jerry the time you gave us was so full of great music and gave each of us peace!
