If this can be used in older engines and if this technology improves and comes to the US, I would prefer it over EVs because I refuse to let go of my 1990 Mustang 5.0 because of the extreme sentimental value I have with it.

Annoying background music drowning out commentary.

Electric cars are not emission free. It depends how your country is producing electricity. Only if the electricity you use to charge your batteries is from an emission free source will it be an advantage...

To "Skyactive X" add: 1.)-> Hyundai's VVD (Variable Valve Duration camshaft) and 2.)-> the new TPS (Transient Plasma Systems) cooler running, more instantaneous ignition system. Now, with these 3 technological advances, we are talking MUCH higher efficiency for the gasoline (petrol) engine. But licensing is, of course, the problem.
TPS should have their system ready within 2 years or less. Hyundai is already using their VVD cam in a new Sonata.

IC engines in vehicles is predicted to last not more than another 10 years with the advent of EVs. Just incremental changes like these will not be enough, these car companies are looking at their end.

In 5 years, the internal combustion engine will be gone along with gas and oil. Maybe sooner than that.

ic engine is a big failure....always bracks always need service....somethings knocks....engine light turns on....there should be new ways to travel electric air compressed motors or even electric steam powered cars.
