wonderful! the just laws are the laws which the general public make themselves and agree to be applied on themselves along with all participants. But still, do public representatives actually represent the public after being elected is another issue.

Surely most political and legal theorists would agree that modern elected legislators don't have the necessary expertise to directly enact every single needed regulation in technical areas such as food, drugs, building codes, etc. Locke didn't live in a technical society like ours, so it's reasonable to assume he would approve of changes like these. For you to claim otherwise, without argument, in a talk supposedly about Locke is highly tendentious.

I'm pretty sure Locke was an apologist for the slavery in his time.
