A film made by BBC Teach, designed to support school PHSE classes, explains that there are more than 100 different gender identities. The NHS currently recognises six genders but should there be a limit to how people can identify? Nicole Gibson and Benjamin Butterworth debate.

Did the person with the glasses just assume Morgan's gender identity by calling him 'Sis gendered male', then refused to accept Morgan's self-chosen self-identity 'I'm just a man'? Doesn't that make that person with the glasses a bigoted, disrespectful and rude hypocrite with double standards?

The irony of Benjamin demanding everyone respects the 100 different genders but the second Piers tells him he's not a Cis anything, he refuses to stop calling him cis-gendered 🤦🤦

How are people not exhausted by all of this? We've made something that once was so simple into something complicated. Adults don't even understand this ideology, how the hell do people expect children to?

A retired school teacher told me that, each year, she used to ask the girls in her mixed-sex class of 8 and 9 year olds if they would rather have been born boys. She gave them a little time to discuss among themselves. A harmless question, surely. There have always been tomboys who would have preferred male activities and gender roles. No harm in that, surely. But she never came across a girl who actually thought she was a boy. Everyone in the class would have doubted her sanity.
But what was interesting is that the proportion of girls who said they would like to be boys was very high in some years and very low in others. Pupils did not want to go against the majority, or at any rate they wanted to give the same answer as their friends. More healthy, surely, if they thought for themselves.
Add another ten years of age, and the psychological ability to think for oneself seems to be extinguished in many individuals.

The job of a parent is not "to make their kids feel comfortable" that is rubbish. Thats how you raise an entitled adult baby with no accountability for their lot in life. Their job is to teach kids values, emotional control, work ethic and education. It's the parents job to teach them to work through hard things and accept that they can't always have their way!!
