Most people believe that tomorrow will look just like today. That progress is moving forward at a constant pace. But I will prove that things are different. Progress isn't a linear process, but exponential. Watch this video and I will show you that we are at the dawn of a new world.

Genuinely happy to have found your channel, and I was shocked to see how "few" subs you have. Now, 10K subs is nothing to scoff at, but with the production value, the work you've put in your videos, and the sheer personality one can sense from your productions, is just awesome! Happy to be here early enough to see you rise up to the point where you derserve to be!

The change is already here, the realization of that change by most people is intrinsic, it manifest as anxiety, doomers and other forms. But fast and sudden changes in society often comes with a reactionary or violent force, stay safe fellow thinking people

The world has already become so complex that people aren't able to comprehend it. Political chaos around the globe is the prime example

The trend of over estimating early impact of technological developments and yet underestimated long term growth and impact/innovation is a trend that I believe will continue for several decades.

i like how nowdays young people are thinking in future, technology is becoming more and more better. I cant imagine in 10 years how much technology and people will improve.

I feel like people really underestimate our intelligence and imagination. To me it seems like our imagination is what drives us and so far we have been pretty good at making the impossible possible. I mean most people literally have hand held information tools in their hands and information is literally transmitted through thin air and that in it self is super amazing to me. I really believe our technological limit is our own imagination.

Oh nice! You did specifically mention it was due to the transistors that the law was created to begin with, nice.

The ability of religious scriptures such as the Bible prophesied all we're seeing is very eye-opening. If you know any in an in-depth manner it's clear.

AI will be dominant, we be few, and confined to few worlds, as a precaution, machine life will somehow, fail, and organic reboot necessary. AI will be mentally like us, without our psychological limits, triggers, and inefficiencies. Much more intellectually capable. My sci-fi opinion.

Can you answer this? How can one make a transistor smaller than the size of a proton? Yeap not nucleus, but a single proton, if it's possible how can you design a transistor smaller than the size of a plank length? How do you connect wires to that plank length transistor?

The video suggests that there is a steady development. However, there have been dead ends. Like dinosaurs or neanderthal men. Our civilization could well be one of the dead ends.

I heard and seen indications that moores law slowed down years ago.

Transistors got too small.

In the near future, a super flare or micro-nova will occur and knock us back to the 1800s. In less we learn how to get past these, we will cycle between today's tech and 1800s tech.

The most simple fly or mosquito probably could outperform best fightet jet pilot. So future of AI is really interesting :) the risks are not human like AI...it's other types of intellect by some accident slipping into digital realm

So I kind of disagree with one of the main premises here — you show the ancestors of Homo sapiens in an exponential graph to prove how quickly we evolve, then expand that to the beginning of life.
My issue is that evolution may be iterative, but it isn’t necessarily *better* — just better suited for the environment that it’s in. Many such ‘leaps of evolution’ are purely horizontal and even backward
On top of that, evolution isn’t a straight line. You show Homo sapiens as more advanced than Neanderthals, but there’s a lot of science saying they were as advanced (or more so!) than us.
There are many animals alive today that haven’t changed appreciably in hundreds of thousands or even millions of years. Evolution isn’t a given!
Lastly, one big reason man’s ancestors proliferated was because there were just more of us. Likewise with life as a whole; as numbers grow, mutations have greater chance to appear. With mutations come diversification

I wish that artificial intelligence was controlling government but now since i have seen that programmers are biased ... It doesn't help. I wish we had a general ethic program that could govern humanity in fairness.
We as society behave like animals so i do think that progress might pass us by. But still i wish we could be on the hand of it.
