I’ve been practicing these ways for over 15 years… I had a bad Acid trip when I was younger. And made me develop Anxiety and Panic Attacks. There for I dropped out of school, and became anti social and felt like I lost my mind. Then a friend of my uncle that passed! Heard what had happen to me, and came and to talked to me. He told me that it was in my head and that reason I got scared and felt like that, was because I that was my ego, pride, and character loosing attachment to my soul. Then he stated me and my friends thrive to reach that boundary and enjoy the detachment from our character. There for he said here read these books it will explain better I. What we do. And ever since then I’ve become the head Spirit Giver, I hold ceremonies for people in need for guidance. I also provide readings and prayers for others in need as well. Thank you for these audio books now I can have my students listen to these in between the ceremony months to go ahead and prepare them for it.

Since 1st reading The teachings in 1970 and then all subsequent books I have no words to describe the immense POWER and sheer beauty of all Juan Matus has given us.

I read most of Casteneda’s works back when they first came out and they were influential in my making my world view. I’m now 65 and to reprise them is a joy and very enlightening!

Thank you so much. This voice is so fascinating, very interesting to listen to. I've read almost all these books twice, listened to audiobooks in my native language, now am listening to this and it's opening to me from another retrospective

I started in my twenties for couple of years reading all the books now in my 50s when i hear the audio is like opening the books in greek language and listening in enflish the same. The one quote that took is alphabet is to communicate in real we don't even know our mother language.

Nothing really matters 🤯 I came out of a mushroom trip saying this same thing myself once.

Got told recently i need to read these books an now i know why haha
Can resonate so much with this an the first book from my own experiences an journey with psychedelics ( minus a shaman)
Like coming across an ally, an learning to work with the spirits that was a minblower too after hearing that

Castaneda's recounting of the way he meets don Juan varies in every one of his books.

The constant ads ruin the experience.
Gave up after 10 minutes when the 4th group of ads destroyed the mood.

The whole thing with the later books where he starts adding in tons of stuff that supposedly happened during this same time period seems so unbelievable.
Its like "oh yeah here is all this other stuff i didnt put in my previous books because i just now remembered it all.
Don Juan hit me in the back and that made me not remember all this stuff until just now"
Its a cool sci fi kind of idea. Getting hit on your shoulder blade can send you into an alternate dimension

I have been studying religious and spiritual information for twenty years. I even have degree in metaphysics. My current practice is prayer to the holy Trinity, breath work, meditation and QiGong. I am almost to the end of wanting to learn anymore. I have studied spiritism and the occult but something in me always kept me from doing any of the rituals and practices. Now Jesus is my Savior, I also enjoy Buddhas work and Taoist philosophy. I did do psilocybin several times and i believe they made an already bad anxiety disorder worse. To me psychedelics create no lasting benefit and are a false awakening. I enjoy listening to this material but at this point I probably am not to interested in sorcery. Jesus is Lord. ☦️☯️☸️

Regarding the incidence of the children who ate up and drank every last scrap of food - isn't it OBVIOUS what escaped both Carlos Castaneda and Don Juan?
Those kids were STARVING! Never mind intellectual emotional or spiritual development - look at basic physical and physiological needs!
