Meinl team, another great video! Dig the Polyphonics & Traditional Extra Thins. But if you're reading this - please create a 19" Byzance Jazz Extra Thin Crash, a 19" Byzance Sand Crash & a 19" Pure Alloy Custom Extra Thin Hammered Crash! I feel they're the only ones left in the puzzle and would love to own one as part of my collection some day. I know and believe they will all be a hit! 🎯

Nonetheless, that 19" Classics Custom Dual Crash low key sounds the cleanest that the brand has at the moment. ✨

I’m really happy they made a video comparing all the 19” crashes. But hearing them all makes me wish Meinl had some 19’s that sounded a little higher or brighter than these. I miss the MB10 line, and nothing replaced it

It’s funny how the “dark” crash is the brightest of them all.

*The last one, traditional medium thin non-brilliant, is my favorite. Then it’s probably a tie between the Foundry and the Polyphonic, very different sounds but not as universal as the Medium Thin. The dual crash would be a great accenting snare cymbal, in place of a China, but the full opened up crash-ride doesn’t sound quite as nice. Maybe for a crunchy break down kind of situation.*
