Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed watching this and always learn something new every day. I hope others can understand the importance of awareness and prevention. This isn't about deciphering the truth about a person or particular substance. Those who keep trying to decipher the truth are failing to learn or ever understand. The truth is much deeper than that. The most important thing we can do is just listen and learn from his story. There's always something valuable that can be learned from each interviewee.

He does way more than lsd, to label this video as a lsd user is a misrepresentation

Aye Brett!!! I used to get acid from this guy when I was in college living on Sutter Street in SF 😂😂 he’s such a cool dude has a lot of crazy acid stories to tell really never a dull moment with him. But it’s sad to see how he’s declined in the last few years. I can tell the drugs are really taking a tool on him now

I think THE most chilling part about all these videos is that this could be any of us at any moment or anyone that we’ve crossed paths with.

A portion of the commentary leans toward judgement and negativity based on the likeability of the interviewee. Brett may not be Mr. Rogers, but his story has intrinsic value.

“LSD taught me a lot about me
Or would I have figured it out just naturally?
It's too late to tell because I'm talking to hell
With all the other acid casualties
Spent a lot of time staring at ceiling fans
And tripping on stereo panning
Came to a new level of understanding
But it never much came in handy
And now I'm just so damaged
But all those straight minds are just so narrow
And me and my friends are wondering just where, oh where
Where did our minds go?”

I’d say LSD is the least of this guys problems..

I suffered a traumatic brain injury in a motorcycle accident ten years ago. I was not functional for around a year and my memory was very bad. It is still not perfect but it is better now than it was then. Sometimes I slur my words a little or forget what I am talking about mid sentence but I thank God I did not end up like this poor soul. I'm praying for you buddy. BTW I should mention that I took around 200 acid or mushroom trips by the time I was 21. But 21 was the last year I did it. It felt like I had gotten everything that I wanted from it and so there was no point in keeping on doing it. I am 57 now and would like to do it one more time but to be honest I am scared of it now. 57 ain't 21 if you know what I mean. There but for the grace of God.

videos like this make me grateful I was able to put that life behind me and move on to better things - over 9 years clean and sober, thank God

The guy has his 70s early 80s hairstyle left, that means that decade was the best time of his life. People tend to keep things in life from the time they had the most fun and when things seemed to go good socially!

The fact that he's hearing voices might mean he's developing drug induced schizophrenia. He's still pretty lucid despite everything though!

Idk why people are cheering him on, its still an addiction. I'm a alcoholic and ex drug addict. Anything that fuxks up your mental Thoughts is a drug... this man cant even think and his past is hurting him, at least he admits his fuxk ups

Poor guy, he literally sounds like his brain stopped as a teenager when he started using drugs .

I'd love to see a clean cut person in a suit with a high paying job be interviewed as a "drug addict". I expect those drug addicts are hard to come by. It doesn't cost anything for a poor man to be honest but a rich man has to hide his flaws.

We all broken in some way. Some people just use drugs to try and numb the pain that the brokenness makes you feel.

Scrolling through the list of videos in underbellys playlist reminds me of "choose your character" in GTA games.
