Clarification: Hindi is not our national language. India doesn't have a national language.
And as a Southern Indian, I can vouch for the fact that we Southern Indians do not hate any language. It's just that learning a language should be a choice and not compulsion.

As a Bengali Hindu, I can confirm you that Bengali is going to be a dead language in decades because of Hindi language. Here in West Bengal, Hindi speakers know Bengali but they still don't speak Bengali and forces us to communicate in Hindi.
I support my South Indian Hindu brothers. You should not allow Hindi in your state if you want to save your culture and mother tongue from these bimarus.

As a Bengali, i know hindi very well. Staying in south i started learning kannada and tamil. My ego doesn't hurt by learning other languages because i m confident about myself.
