How to EASILY find your Face Shape and Pick the Right Glasses

In this video i'll show you how you can easily find your face shape to help you pick the glasses that fit you best! (or other things) I have been working on this project with Zenni Optical for the past year and together we created a series of video tips along with an amazing fool-proof QUIZ that you can take in order to help YOU determine what face shape you are!

For commenters still struggling to understand their shape, it may help to understand that our faces aren't made with a shape stamp and many people don't perfectly fit a category, but are a blend instead. For example, I'm a rounded square.

As a rounded square, I do always need large or oversized frames vs. small ones, but I can pull off rectangle or round frames as long as the round frames have a hard straight line across the top to add some structure.


Another thing that can be confusing is with shapes where they say "as wide as it is long". It's not exactly 1:1, the face is usually still longer than it is wide, but the proportion is smaller than with other face shapes.



In fact, since most of us naturally have a sense of what looks good on us, figuring out your face shape can be easier by working backwards. Spend a couple hours in an eye-glass shop trying on glasses and notice what flatters you and what doesn't. Then compare what you liked and didn't like to face shape recommendations and see if the shape(s) you land on make sense as your face. Good luck!

My face is an oval shape and it's NO WAY for me wearing something rectangular 'cause in such kind of frames I look like a MAN XDDDD And I look cool in cat eye and round(ish) frames. So not only a face shape is an option to choose a right glasses frame. It also depends on the face features

I know this is an older video, but something to point out is depending on how strong your prescription is will determine what type of frames you can get. If your prescription is higher than a + 8.0 or lower than a - 8.0 your lenses will be too heavy for rimless, half rimless, and thinner frames even with ultra thin lenses. Also you'll want to sticker to smaller frames so there's less lense space, making them weigh less than a huge frames lenses would.
