I've just finished his CSS Foundations course, after completing his HTML Foundations and Web Foundations. I have to say, the content on those courses is amazing, not super deep or nerdy (as he says) but he makes really good effort in making you understand how it works and WHY it works, after that, I assure you you can teach yourself the rest, it becomes a looot easier. Omw to start the JS Foundations Course.

If you are someone who is learning how to code, don't give up and ignore any thoughts in your head that might say you can't do it. I have been there not long ago, just over 2 years ago, but now work in the industry and have a good job.
It takes practice and solving of a variety of problems, use courses from good teachers like Stefan and use the skills learned to think up and build your own projects, then you will really really start to improve fast. You will find it will intuitively start to make sense over time, even when months before, it may have seemed like a completely alien and impossible thing.

best advice ever: Keep writing coding and one day you will have this "eureka" moment. Thanks Stefan.

Without a doubt frequency is key, he is absolutely right here. Pushing through when you don't understand it, googling the answer when you are stuck then spending time understanding that answer. Over time, the more you do this, the more it clicks and you start to see the same patterns suddenly become a clearer picture.

Just finished your foundation JS course, I feel much more confident starting a HTML/CSS/JS Project now, since I can now situate myself and know the generality of JS. Thank you Stefan !

yeah for some reason every javascript course I've taken has been difficult to follow, but then I started learning React and it was so much easier to understand and actually helped me learn javascript easier. So now I'm just going back to JS resources and it's starting to click. Def recommend building more projects so you can see visually what is going on vs just hearing concepts and theories

Sir, you are the first person I’ve found on YouTube that has advised to break the code, this makes so much sense . Thank you so much!!

I can vouch for his teaching ability. I’m going through his full stack web dev course, and he’s the kind of teacher that makes you wonder why things seemed so confusing before, and how they could be so easy to understand now.

Just a quick update. I started the course and got to lesson 10. Then I went back to my original course and their lessons on JS made sense because I now have a frame of reference from your course. Crazy!!! You are a God send sir.

my new "Triple D's" philosophy : Repeat repeat repeat, practise practise practise, action action action.
4+ hours a day of writing same functions over and over again. They are now stored in my brain and are there to Stay,
(Not planing to do that with ruby)

As I planned, the first thing to do is your courses for learning the BASICS.
Just finished the HTML Foundations, now I am with CSS Foundations and than I do JS.
Step by step and the thing is done, your courses are the best ever to me.
I am understanding better, I am learning and having fun at the same time and daily,
and I am so happy and joyful. Thank you very much Stefan.

He is so right. True with any subject, most teachers don't know how to teach they just run thru the material.

Having problems with retaining methods. This was inspiring. I'll continue to code independent of school. I feel like my long term memory is shaky right now lol. First time I've felt this way.

I am doing Stefan's course. The pace is superb, the content is clearly explained and I understand that watching the video and answering the questions is only the beginning. I am taking my time to fully understand everything and practice at the same time for different situations. Stefan delivers a course for people to understand and do; other people deliver tutorials for people to do (if that makes sense).

What, I imagine in the future is, you just type what you want and under it writes the script.

The best way to learn is just like Stefan said it, you gotta be exposed to the subject as much as possible. Once you understand the core of the language either by reading or video tutorials then you shift into more specific things for example like building responsive websites using html css and bootstrap course.
