They need it? Based on what research?

Not really. Maybe for some but not for me. I started working in 2001 in an office. Then I know this guy who is of the same age as me and we're both civil engineers and users of AutoCAD.

That guy spent most of his career working remotely (I can see because I pass by their house whenever I go to my workplace).

Apparently, he is way more relaxed than me. In my case, yes I may be learning in the office but I have to "suffer" the office politics.

Fast forward to today, that guy (ok he's my neighbor) moved on to a better company abroad and is doing better.

The point is he built his foundation via remote working and didn't seem any different than most successful professionals that started in the office.

"Craving relationship, mentoring and modeling that in-office provides" - You may consider me as a sample that this isn't always the case.

There is no more cooperative in office training or mentoring. Most don’t have the skills or attitude to train and most want to be compensated for teaching a coworker how to do something. People can suck. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was pretty depressed when working remotely

Won’t employers eventually outsource to other lower wages countries?

Baloney. The whole return to the office thing is just more bull about 'corporate culture, ' used to justify hazing, initiation, and bullying. More fit in or else from the business filth that never stop talking about individuality, but don't mean any of it.

as someone who currently work at home i call bullshit, there is no way i would perform better in a office, if anything i would need a 5 fold increase to deal with the moron coworkers id have to be around.
