The choke is supposed to be on during cold starts. So the lever should be up, then once you start it, leave up until the engine is warm, then push it down. The choke is supposed be used on cold starts because when the engine is cold, the air fuel mixture tends to be leaner. Also the engine can load up if not warmed up properly. (I, e, start it then take off)

That's a carburetor fine-tuning a little screw he's playing with that allows more or less gas you have to get the bike spinning up-to-speed to tell for sure exactly where you want it

When you're starting it and when it starts up your puts to give it a little gas dude with the throttle

This guy has no experience when you first start a bike for the day you have to have full choke and once it idles for a minute you can turn the choke off. If it dies with the choke off, start it again with half choke and let it idle for a bit and then it should be able to run it with no choke Which is the best for the bike 😀
