Hermitcraft 10: Episode 27 - IT'S FINISHED!

In this episode of Hermitcraft season 10, I finish phase 1 of my Minecraft survival mega base. This giant Minecraft survival base has been my first detailed minecraft building project, and it's taken me 6 months to conceptualise and complete. Now I move on to phase 2!

Stage 1 of phase 2 is to improve my flamingo.

Grian is able to notice when Mumbos eyes have gotten darker and Mumbo can't tell the difference between Grain's head and a fish.

I think what especially impresses me about this base is that Mumbo hasn't just decided to make a cottagecore base or a cyberpunk base or whatever predetermined style, he's just designed it and it's ended up as a cohesively whimsical vision that I struggle to put a label on.

i work with children outdoors, and i got my big ron’s cap earlier this summer and i wear it to work pretty often. consequently, the kids LOVE my hat. they had to come up with a group name for the entire summer and they settled on “big rons” for their name. they always ask me who big ron is and i tell them that all they need to know is that he’s a big fella named ron and they always seem satisfied with that answer

I'll be honest, Hermitcraft: "Mumbo is an artist"-Edition is a very refreshing thing to watch. Not that the technical stuff is bad, it's just nice to try something different once in a while

Scar has cyan fence posts at the tip because the background around the tips is the blue sky. Bleeding surrounding colors into the literal block is a good way to show "skinniness." The background color is invading the block which indicates that its rather thin.

Mumbo, I think a town diner would be great to put into the build! Like a place where all the towns people come to eat breakfast before work.

Mumbo, a little thing i think you could add RE the toxic Hay/Kelp thing is Mangrove roots. They look very like dried out/dead hay, and the fact they are pretty transparent means the colours from the blocks around them will all work together.

3:35 it could be a good idea to put glow lichen over the melon/hay bales to help transition them. They also give off a really low amount of light so it could also help show that it's a toxic pile.
