A large portion of miscarriges are caused by genetic abnormalities in the embryo that are incompatable with life. There's nothing that you did to cause that, and it's nothing that you could have prevented. The rest are caused by a variety of other factors, but again, it's NOTHING that you caused or could have prevented. It's not your fault, I promise. *hugs*

I am interested to know how this placenta affects a miscarriage. I just had a miscarriage myself last night at 7 weeks- after my next cycle, we are trying for another baby. Very interesting and thank you for mentioning how the dating to the last period to count weeks of gestation is a bit ridiculous. I always found it really stupid to count those weeks. Would be interesting to know what the other reasons could be or examples of it. Thanks again

I have just heard a third miscarriege, the first miscariage came as soon as before even i missed my periods, the second time i missed one period that means it might have happened at 5weeks i shed tears i dint know why it happened, the third pregnancy it was 9weeks i thought this one would survive but however much i was praying hard for this one to survive, when i saw i was loosing it i felt so much at peace and said to myself, well, i am not the aurthor of life.. i encouraged myself actually it happened yesterday, still bleeding but i feel like trying again once more 😂
