Dr. Cywes is one of the most brilliant commentators in this area of health and nutrition...and I have listened to most of them.

cywes rightly hates the term 'diet'. let's add 'bulk/bulking up' to his list of hated terms. let's be specific... are we talking about endurance athletes concerned about laying down building extra muscle?

great video and information. thank you, gentlemen.

I am an lean athlete. And I ate a bunch of honey. And I tested my blood sugar two hours later and my blood sugar was 170! So I think maybe Its not ok for me for a treat. That score means I am insulin resistence right?

Always great stuff from Dr Cywes, but the irony of criticizing the keto-evangelist’s is that this movement would not be happening without them (and social media of course). Akin to chastising the apostles for spreading the good word 😉

In minute 1:16:13 - 1:16:30 Dr. Robert Cywes mentions Timothy Noakes and another researcher, doing research with regards to how the keto diet will work with burst or power oriented athletic activities. What was the last name of the researcher "Jonathan" that Dr. Cywes mentions? I did not catch it. Thanks.
