I definitely think that it would be beneficial for the Allies if Italy had been a member as well as for themselves;
Why?
Because this way Italy would probably had a better military . Better tanks, better airforce, better Navy.
Also if I got my history right from what I heard Great Britain and Italy where friends prior to World War II

1. France would definitely not fall as quick and Germany would probably be dragged into a trench war against France and Italy.
2. Japan would face a stronger UK, that is not tied to battle against Italy's navy, or their Italy's army in North Africa.
3. The Luftwaffe would be severely outnumbered by the combined airforce of Italy, the UK, and France.
4. I should not even have to mention how small the Kriegsmarine would be compared to the Allies, and the UK would not have to waste resources against Italy in the Mediterranean. There is no way that submarine warfare would be effective towards 3 of the biggest navies of the time combined, that's without mentioning their airforces.
5. I don't think Germany would try to fist through 50 divisions in the Ardennes in this timeline, they would simply not have the Airforce advantage, plus they would not be able to spare so many divisions for such an operation, having the Italian front to worry about.
6. I am assuming this takes place in 1938, right after the Anschluss? Germany would not be ready for such a large scale war. Operation Barbarossa would be postponed quite a bit, or not happen at all, or a reverse where the Soviets invade Germany.
7. Poland would probably get invaded by the soviets first since Germany would already be in a war against a bigger Allies, Poland would survive longer.
8. WW2 would end earlier. Or the Germans might ally the Russians in desperation, in which this is a totally different story.

i assume the italians will find a way to take more yugoslavian land as compensation for joining the war maybe even more french or Egyptian territory or more realistically Turkish territory as they were neutral and were already claimed territories by italy since ww1

A likely scenario would be if the treaty of London was respected, giving Italy all of Dalmatia. The fascists rise to power was influenced by the idea of "Vittoria mutilata" (allied betrayal) thus, the Italian dictatorship wouldn't rise and they would join the allies. That also could make Hitler not rise as well without the March on Munich but that brings up a TOTALLY different subject.

Idk about this the Italians lacked up to date military equipment but were proven veterans of the war in the alps, and many of the old fortifications were still there allowing Italy to fend off German attacks much easier, and with total dominance over the Mediterranean British troops could land in France via the med between Italy and Spain, and using Italian airfields ultimately the joined allied airforce would have been much more effective at bombing Germany as it had less distance to travel,

And Germany bearly had a large enough army to do what they did and they couldn't fight on 4 fronts (North, South, East and west) so it's likely Germany would have invaded Russia first not France with Britain not distracted by a war in Europe the Anzac forces would have still been in Australia and New Zealand Zealand able to have fought the Japanese in New guine and further

By the time Russia is defeated Germany would have been unable to invade anyone else due to the losses suffered snd its likely that France would have been much more prepared for a possible German attack, Japan facing the full might of the biritsh empire would have been crushed as just like with the Americans they lacked the resources for prolonged war, and would have been defeated before Russia meaning that if Germany even attempted a war against France and Britain with no distractions in Asia and full dominance of the med Germany would have suffered greatly especially as France was in the beginning of upgrading tanks when ww2 broke out so without the wat France would have more time to upgrade and would have been ready for a tank war

The question you never bothered asking though, is Italy even fascist in this timeline ? Without a fascist Italy you likely not have a fascist Spain which could create a scenario where the Spanish join the Allies as well. The French could keep fighting from the South.
