What if Italy joined the Central Powers in WW1

Italy in the Central Powers in as a common alternate scenario that many believe would have led the Entente to lose the war, with this video I want to make it clear that Italy wouldn't have helped Germany in the west as much as the majority of people believe.

In this video I assume that the supplies of the Central Powers would be enough for Italy, which has been blockaded by the Entente. Therefore this scenario itself could be considered enough far stretched but this fact only remarks that the Central Powers would not have won the war with Italy on their side.

Being passionate about World War II, I love your videos, which are the best in the mapping field.

I have an idea for a future video: what if Italy had remained neutral during World War II?

There would not have been a Balkan campaign, which could have allowed Germany to launch the invasion of the USSR earlier, around May 15th. Without the African front, Germany would have had more resources on the Eastern Front and might have succeeded in capturing Moscow, Leningrad, and advancing to Grozny and Baku in the Caucasus. Without the Italian and African fronts, the Western Allies could have liberated France earlier and gained more territory in Western and Central Europe. We could even imagine that they would reach Poland with the help of Polish uprisings.

With more territory liberated in Europe, and the USSR only reclaiming its own land, Soviet influence in Eastern Europe would be weaker, and the Cold War would have been radically different.

Anyway, thank you for your videos.
