Dude. Just wanna say how much my boys and I enjoy watching your builds. Seems like a lot of fun, and the end result is always impressive. My 4 year old pulls his sleeves up and pretends to be “building man” the whole time we’re watching. Keep up the great work 🙌🏻😎☀️

Not sure how many people want an ice bath, but a hot tub/ soaking tub would be awesome😊!

Check with your local pool and spa supply dealer. There is a easy non-chlorine solution to keep your water clear.

Regardless of what others are saying I think you did a fantastic job! It’s a realistic way to build something you have a passion for and that will last.
Good job man, keep doing what you do!

Also side note, I think throwing in a little automotive restoration wouldn’t hurt, delve into something you’re not familiar with(or are familiar with) and just keep the same style of video you do.

Awesome! I love this aspect of building things that support your health and hobbies that you have been showing! But the funniest thing you said throughout the whole video was that your wife will try this cold plunge! No need for a video, but if she even steps foot near that thing, maybe just mention it in one of your next videos! Ha ha ha!

Thanks, Mr. Build-It for all the great entertainment and for a future idea, I’ve seen people build home gyms (squat rack, pull up bar, bench press), out of wood and building supplies so maybe that’s a direction you can go in?

You may want to make sure your hosing and fittings are Ozone resistant, or you’ll end up with cracks and leaks sooner than later.

Those little suction feet work much better when they are submerged in water. Too late now but you know for next time. Perfect timing on the video as I am wanting to build this out soon!

Freezer aside, if it was me, I would’ve put in the pump hole higher up to suck up the warmer water and take it down to the chiller and not be beside the output.

Venting that gas off to atmosphere in my kart of the world is a hefty fine

Love that you took the time to solder the wires but invest in some environmental splices so much more efficient.

Careful with those aquarium pumps and filters. Common issue is they may eventually start leaking voltage into the water.

I just bought a freezer and used for the same purpose. But I also used the built in chiller 🤷‍♂️ then siliconed the seams inside the chest. Works great, why spend the extra to buy a separate chiller?

You did a fantastic job on that old freezer. Is there anything you can't build😂. Did you build your home. Very skilled. Live the videos, wish you the best on your future endeavors

You let all those refrigerants into the atmosphere my guy

How much overspray cleanup did you have to do?

You paid $175 for that old freezer and you didn't need it to work? Boy they saw you coming. It's worth $50 at best

For the pump cable you could use a liquid tight cord grip

With the popularity of cold-plunges, and considering a refrigerator outputs 32-40F (0-4C)... I'd love to remodel a bathroom, such that with a flip of a switch somewhere, ice-water comes out of the shower-head!

Any thoughts if this is do-able, or is a shower's water flow too much for on-demand ice-cold?

How have you been liking the cold plunge since you got it all set up? I did something similar and have been noticing the FlexSeal is starting to peel off the inside of the freezer
