Just been covered in your comments already, but when you add in your Venturi with your ozone injection, you will need to change the order in which your flow goes. A Venturi is injecting air bubbles, which could build up in your chiller cause a dry spot and then cause icing and breaking of your heat exchanger. Your component order should be tub to strainer to pump to chiller to filter/Venturi in parallel and back to the tub. As you have it working right now without your chiller, it will do just fine.

Everything else in the video was great. I would’ve put my holes for my tub in a different location.

One other thing is to take the pump off the smart plug and run it 24/7. You want constant flow and filtration. Also take the chiller off a smart plug because it has a self regulator on it. It functions exactly the same as your refrigerator or freezer and will take care of itself just fine. There is an argument to be made that by putting it on a smart switch, it will actually have to work harder and longer to rechill the water. When it cycles back on. I run my system 24 seven without unplugging anything and I have not noticed a difference in my power bill.

My love the DIY build. Thanks for taking the time to put it together. I am modeling mine like yours, except with one modification. I see you drilled two holes for the water intake and output. Mine, I am going to only drill the top hole. The bottom hole I will use the pre-built drain. However, you do have to change the fitting to a 3/4" Bulkhead fitting (Home Depot has them). I added a male fitting into the new bulkhead fitting, then a "T". On one end of the "T", I added a 1/4 turn ball valve (I use this as my drain if needed). The other end of the "T: is plumbed to the pump and chiller like yours. Thanks again for the video. Great Job!

When I showed my husband your channel, he really wanted to know how you made yours. Thank you for this.

Hey Daniel! Just bought everything via your links! My total expense was about $890 with taxes and shipping etc. Just an update. Thank you for the video. Hope I can put this together without too much trouble.

Is there a video on how you made the box?

Hey Brian, I would like to follow your setup including the Ozone generator as well. Do you happen to have a diagram that illustrates which parts go where? Your video has one set of parts, your links in the description have different pieces, and your follow up comment states that you would further change some of your design implementation. Can you share a final list or diagram on how it would all be assembled?

Do you have the pre filter hooked up before the pump?

The pump you have linked shows a 1/2" outlet on top. How do you get from the 1/2" to the 3/4" piping?

If I wanted to use a 150 gallon tank would I have to get a bigger chiller?

Is there any other purpose for the box other than just wanting to hide the chiller/tubes?
I live in a really warm climate and think the box would make the chiller work harder.
