I got my fuel sub set up yesterday.

Having one was great, but because I was looking for more depth, it truly give you a different experience having the dual sub set up. If you looking for more just sound and want more feel, when you are watching and enjoying movies or sports, this is the answer.

It is much more apparent, and I think it is worth it. The next step would be getting individual receiver, speakers, amps and the whole bit. However Sonos make it simple, targets your need and you variable options are amongst many.

This review was great. Very simple, not
Long and straight to the point.

I suggest getting if you are looking for the extra umphhhhffff in your system.

I too am considering the Sonos AMP to add for my system. Does anyone if I buy the Sonos amp if it connects to the entire system for you Sonos system that currently exists, or does it dedicate it self to what it is connected to?

So I've always wondered what is a medium or large room considered a square footage? Is a 15 ft x 12 ft room considered large? And personally I would have preferred a 7.1 system option update!

LOVE the Sonos ARC soundbar / 2 subs / and (2) ONE SL's friggin love it....now hoping to be able to use (2) sonos 5's as rears and 2 ONE SL's as 6th and 7th speaker for a 5.2.4....cheers all and be safe

They woulda been better off adding up firing speakers to their surround speakers

Loved the review…, been wondering if adding an extra sub would be over kill. Due to the fact that my living room isn’t a large room…, but I love the rumble and punch in my movies and music! On the verge of pulling the trigger on upgrading from the playbase to an arc/ dual sub.

More people would be happy if you can use one sub for different group.

non directional does NOT mean that placement does not matter. place the sub anywhere in the room, play bass heavy music and then walk around. you will find that there are extreme highs and lows in bass pressure based on your location. you have to place the sub in a spot where your listening position is at a high point.
edit: this is also the best reason to add a second sub. it evens out those peaks and valleys and makes the bass more even throughout the room.

Did I hear you right? You mentioned that using one of these subwoofers in the app the sub could be added to a system without Sonos products?

I'm actually pretty impressed with this review, it's was simple yet in-depth enough to get the point across and make clear who or what you benefit. It's a good product, and I'll be looking for the next review.

If two subs are used to get a more even bass response and (!) the same perceived level of bass as when using one, I think you might be less likely to annoy your neighbors using two. This message does not constitute professional advice 😃

I have an Sonos ARC, if I purchased the Sonos AMP, would I be able to add a SVS PB3000 sub and have it work with the ARC instead of the Sonos sub?

I would direct anyone pondering two subs to the REL subwoofer website for further information on the stereo subwoofer rationale.

Myself, I have gone from a powerful, tower speaker audiophile 3.2 system to a downsized sound bar system via Sonos. I ran two REL subs in a 16x20 room for years, not so much for more bass, but rather for sonic headroom with less distortion and better dispersion for stereo imaging.

My Sonos arc is in a similarly sized room; it’s going to have one subwoofer. Two is always better. Not necessarily for additional bass, rather more refined bass and lower-midrange imaging.

Even more people would love if the trueplay feature could also be used with the Sonos Amp and your own passive speakers, not only the hardware dongled build in ones from Sonance!

Is a 15 ft x 14 ft room considered small?

I have arc, sub Gen 3 2 sonos play 5 for rears. Thinking of adding the 2nd sub and was wondering front or back. But the fives produce some good base wasn't sure if it would be 2 much. Any have this setup?

Dual sub is surely overkill for 99% of rooms.
