Sonos S2 Version 12.2.2 update - DUAL SUB SUPPORT!

Finally Sonos supports dual Sub!

Dear all, I am terribly sorry that I'm not going to be able to get on video as I have been ordered by the doctor to give my vocal cords a rest. They are still investigating some anomaly but I really hope everything pans out well. In the mean time, I will be disciplined and try not to use my voice. I will be trying out new video formats to see what delivers my sharing best. Do feel free to leave your likes AND dislikes so that I know what works and what does. Hi Peter! I just got my system that I ordered around Black Friday time! I got the Arc, a gen 3 sub ad two sonos fives as rear surrounds. I just ordered my second sub it will be here tomorrow! I’m so excited!

Great video Peter, I would love to see a video or comparison of using fives as surrounds or dual subs to see which is worth having more than the other! unless budget is no issue

I was playing with the EQ levels on my Sonos app and saw the connect a second sub tab just the other day. I was wondering if you were going to do a video on it. I'm so curious how this would sound as my current single sub sound already fills my room but this would definitely add to the immersion

Peter, is there an optimal distance from the back of the sub to the wall (the sub if facing the listeners with no obstructions on front side - also the sub is standing upright and not lying down). Thank you again for your videos!

It's great to see Sonos committing to different surround configurations!
Do you see them adding support for 7.1.2 with the standard Arc + Sub + 2x One setup? Or even with the addition of more speakers?
It still seems odd that it isn't supported as the correct number of speakers are already present.

Peter, have you had any issues with the Sonos arc sound dropping in and out? I'm having this issue with my sonos arc connected to my Samsung Q95T. It was fine when I first got my sonos arc, but now it's dropping out every time I turn the TV on. The only way I can fix it it rebooting the Sonos arc and TV by switching the power off and on. I have seen this issue pop up in the Sonos forums alot. I thought this latest update would fix the issue, but the sound still keeps cutting in and out for me after the update.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought what users really wanted was a possibility to use one sub with two sets of speakers (mainly arc and fives or so) without having to go through the whole disconnect-connect-true play times 2 orgy, but I guess that would just be a software solution which would not boost sub sales...poor airmanship in my mind...
