Our good mate Jack recently purchased a 2.4 JTD Alfa Romeo 159 for £1,000 as a replacement daily driver for his Citroen C5. This Alfa is a fantastically appealing thing to look at but... is it a good car especially considering you can find "spares & repairs" examples going for more money than this one. Let's find out.

Special thanks to Jack again for trusting us with yet another vehicle!

Love an estate, think that’s a decent looking car. Not sure I’d put my money anywhere near one but glad someone does 😅

1:33 70k miles is still around 110k km, I don't think other cars' belts rated for more

That cause of heavier weight of this platform is simple - safety. It was developed in cooperation with SAAB, so you know it´s well designed.

I had the 156 JTD 2.4. It was an awesome car but turbo blew up at 130k miles and ingested bits into the engine. It was fucked basically so scrapped it
